Ink Review #734: Pilot Iroshizuku Asa Gao

And with that, we are officially coming towards the end of November! Today’s review will focus on Pilot Iroshizuku Asa Gao (Morning Glory). This is a bright royal blue.

Swabs:

Asa Gao is a royal blue with medium shading and medium red sheen. The color is similar to Tono & Lims: I Feel So Refreshed! and Diamine Sargasso Sea (which has higher sheen).

Asa-Gao performed beautifully and was VERY well behaved. (At this point, I would be quite surprised if a Pilot Iroshizuku ink behaved poorly). Asa Gao had a smooth, average flow. The sheen is beautiful and I love how it catches the light!

Overall: If I had to recommend a brand, it would overwhelmingly be Pilot Iroshizuku. Asa-Gao is a beautiful blue and I definitely recommend trying out a sample!
