Ink Review #750: Robert Oster Napa — Fountain Pen Pharmacist

Today we will be reviewing Robert Oster Napa from the Cities of America line.

Swabs:

Robert Oster Napa is a rich burgundy with high shading and no sheen.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had medium water resistance and an average dry time of 25 seconds.

Writing Sample:

Napa was well-saturated with a dry flow. I noticed that the ink would come out initially brown (when left alone for a while), and dry to a muted red-purple.

Overall: Napa is a rich burgundy with great shading. I won’t be purchasing this as a full bottle — the flow is too dry for my taste.
