Ink Review #778: Wearingeul Pride and Prejudice

Today we will be starting on another ink series from Wearingeul! I’ve previously reviewed their inks but am particularly excited with these next samples. The first ink will be Pride and Prejudice (which holds a very special place in my heart—both the film and the book!).

Swabs:

Pride and Prejudice is part of the Wearingeul Color of Literature Collection. The bottle comes with a small swatch card that has the corresponding Pantone and RGB colors.

Pride and Prejudice is a bright magenta with low shading and sheen.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

Wearingeul kindly provided their Smile Cat Ink Swatch Cards. The card is thicker (similar to a notecard) vs my regular Tsubame Note Ink Collection Cards.

This ink had an average dry time of 25 seconds and high water resistance. The Wearingeul Ink Swatch cards can be found here.

Writing Sample:

This ink was well-saturated with a consistent, average flow.

Overall:

“Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!” - Jane Bingley (Pride & Prejudice). I’m a huge fan of Wearingeul’s Literature collection , and the fact that this ink was inspired by my favorite book of all time? I’m a fan. I’ve already inked my journaling pen with Pride & Prejudice.
