Ink Review #784: Robert Oster New York

Today we will be reviewing Robert Oster New York, from the Cities of America collection. This is a muted medium red.

Swabs:

New York is a warm-toned, desaturated red with low shading. I had a difficult time trying to describe this shade of red—I would say it leans warm, but is not a vibrant red. The color is similar to Robert Oster Whisper Red and Taccia Sharaku-Akasakura.

New York had a dry flow with low saturation.

Overall: Unfortunately I was not a fan of New York. The ink is too dry for my taste, and I would have preferred more shading.
