Ink Review #793: Robert Oster Charred Hickory

Happy New Year! Today we will be reviewing Robert Oster Charred Hickory.

Swabs:

Charred Hickory is a medium brown with high shading and no sheen. This is a warm brown with red undertones.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had an average dry time of 20 seconds and medium water resistance.

Writing Sample:

I found this ink had a dry flow with average saturation.

Overall: I liked the shading but did not like the flow. Overall, I will have to pass on Charred Hickory.
