Ink Review #813: Taccia Ukiyo-e Hiroshige Nakamurasaki
Welcome to the 800th post on this blog! (Time flies). Today we will be reviewing Taccia Nakamurasaki. This is a deep purple from the Hiroshige collection, and translates to "‘Red-Purple”.
Swabs:
Nakamurasaki is a medium purple with high shading and no sheen. The color is similar to Sailor Studio 452 and Robert Oster Muddy Crown.
Dry Time/Water Resistance:
This ink had an average dry time of 15 seconds and low water resistance.
Writing Sample:
Nakamurasaki had a smooth, average flow and saturation.
Overall: Throughout the years, I have been impressed by Taccia inks. This one is no exception! I love the darker purple tones and the shading.
