Ink Review #813: Taccia Ukiyo-e Hiroshige Nakamurasaki

Welcome to the 800th post on this blog! (Time flies). Today we will be reviewing Taccia Nakamurasaki. This is a deep purple from the Hiroshige collection, and translates to "‘Red-Purple”.

Swabs:

Nakamurasaki is a medium purple with high shading and no sheen. The color is similar to Sailor Studio 452 and Robert Oster Muddy Crown.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had an average dry time of 15 seconds and low water resistance.

Nakamurasaki had a smooth, average flow and saturation.

Overall: Throughout the years, I have been impressed by Taccia inks. This one is no exception! I love the darker purple tones and the shading.
