Ink Review #823: P.W Akkerman Voorhout Violet

Today we will be reviewing P.W Akkerman Voorhout Violet. P.W Akkerman is a company founded in 1927 in the Netherlands. Their ink bottles sport a unique look and have elongated necks.

Swabs:

Voorhout Violet is a medium, dusty violet with medium shading and no sheen. As seen in the swatch above, this is a cooler-leaning purple.

This ink had an average dry time of 20 seconds and low water resistance.

Voorhout Violet had a smooth, average flow and saturation.

Overall: I was very pleased with Voorhout Violet. It’s a smooth, dusty purple with great shading.
