Ink Review #826: Color Traveler Pastel Pink

This ink review signifies the end of another Hobonichi notebook! This marks our eleventh notebook. :)

Today we will be reviewing Color Traveler Pastel Pink from the Wasanbon Oiri Collection. This ink is meant to represent the color of Oiri, confectionary sweets from the Kagawa Prefecture.

Swabs:

Pastel Pink is a dusty pink with high shading and no sheen. I would not describe this as a pastel or light pink, but mauve. It certainly is a fascinating color; I was unable to find a close match with any of my other ink samples.

Pastel Pink had an average flow and saturation.

Overall: Pastel Pink is a dusty mauve. Overall, I felt that this color can be suited for journaling and doodling. It is very legible in writing samples and is not too pale.
