Ink Review #830: Diamine Green Ed. Celebration

Today is a special post! We have reached the end of Persuasion by Jane Austen. I have to say that I was not captivated by the plot until the last few chapters. Pride & Prejudice still has a grip over my heart! Our next book will be Sense & Sensibility.

We will be reviewing Diamine Celebration, a warm red from their Green Edition collection.

Swabs:

Diamine Celebration is a warm red with medium shading and orange shimmer. This is a soft red with orange undertones — a bit more orange than coral. The color reminds me of crackling fireplaces and stockings.

This ink had an average dry time of 30 seconds and medium water resistance.

Celebration had a dry flow and average saturation. The orange glitter was not apparent in my writing sample, so I suspect that you will have to use a large/wet nib to appreciate it.

Overall:

Celebration is a soft-warm orange with shimmer. This ink is best used in large nibs or swatches if you want to capture the shimmer.
