Ink Review #136: Sailor Studio 443

Today’s post will review Sailor Studio 443. This is a vibrant blue.

This ink had a moderate dry time, low shading, and no sheen. This is an electric blue similar to Diamine Sargasso Sea and Diamine Majestic Blue.

This was my first foray into using Franklin-Christoph’s “SIG”, or Signature Italic Grind, nib. As such, my handwriting is a bit shaky but I found that this was a smooth, wet ink. I can see the ink being used to mark up papers.

Overall: This is a bright blue. However, I won’t be repurchasing a full sample as it is similar to previous inks.
