Ink Review #147: Sailor Studio 740

Today’s ink review is Sailor Studio 740.

This ink had a quick dry time, no shading, and high sheen. This is a royal blue that glimmers in the light. The color resembles Diamine Sargasso Sea.

This ink had a dry flow. I experienced quite a few hard starts while sampling this ink, so it would be best suited for extremely wet writers.

I’ve noticed that the royal blue/red sheen color tends to pop up quite a bit. I am planning on posting a meta-swatch post for these in order to clear up any color differences.

Overall: This is a very dry, bright blue.
