Today’s post focuses on Sailor Studio 373, a chocolate brown.

This ink had a moderate dry time, high shading, and no sheen. This is a warm-toned brown with bits of purple and green. It is similar to J. Herbin Cafe du Brésil.

I loved this sample. It reminded me of hot cocoa on a cold winter day. The shading is beautiful and unique, and the brown is dark enough to read.

Overall: Sailor Studio 373 is a warm, velvety brown. I recommend trying a sample and look forward to purchasing a bottle in the future.
