Ink Review #187: Sailor Studio 973 — Fountain Pen Pharmacist

Today we’ll be reviewing Sailor Studio 973, a red brown.

Swabs:

This ink had a moderate dry time, high shading, and low silver sheen. The color reminds me of burnt bricks.

Writing Sample:

This ink behaved well in my <M> nib. It was smooth, consistent, and had a regular flow.

Overall: This is a dirt-red brown.
