Ink Review #206: Diamine Shimmertastic Magical Forest

Today we’re diving back into glittery inks! I confess I’ve been taken with shimmering inks lately. Diamine Magical Forest is a beautiful mid green.

Swabs:

This ink had low shading and lots of silver glitter. The color is an exact match to Diamine Tropical Green—only with shimmer. It is a medium green.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had a surprisingly quick dry time at 15 seconds! I expected it to take a bit longer because of the shimmer, but I was proven wrong. It has medium water resistance.

Writing Sample:

This was pleasant and smooth to write with. The shimmer was evenly distributed and gave my writing some pizzaz.

Overall: I would suggest this ink if you enjoy Diamine Tropical Green or shimmer inks.
