Ink Review #207: Pilot Iroshizuku Yu-Yake

Today we will be reviewing Pilot Iroshizuku Yu-Yake. This translates to “sunset” and is a warm orange. I’m fond of Iroshizuku inks and have looked forward to this review for quite a while now.

This ink had high shading and no sheen. The color reminds me of papaya—soft, inviting, and delicious!

This ink had a long dry time (as expected of Iroshizuku inks) and low water resistance.

I absolutely adored this color. It had a great flow, was quite smooth, and the shading was superb.

Overall: This is a lovely, subdued orange. I definitely see myself purchasing a full bottle in the future!
