Ink Review #215: Tono & Lims Coffee: Brazilian Chocolat

Today we will be reviewing our first scented ink! Tono & Lims Coffee: Brazilian Chocolat is a dark medium-grey. This is from their Adult Night Line. The scent is meant to represent freshly roasted coffee. Unfortunately, I found that this smelled less of coffee and more of an overly sweet chocolate.

Swabs:

This was a warm grey with hints of brown. It had medium shading and no sheen. The color is similar to coffee grounds.

This ink behaved well with a smooth flow. I found that the scent was overpowering at times. Fortunately, it does fade to an afterthought after a few days.

Overall: This is a strong-scented ink. I am not a fan of the smell and would not recommend this if you are sensitive to scents like perfumes or body spray.
