Ink Review #239: Tono & Lims Burma Tourmaline

Today we’ll be taking a look at Tono & Lims Burma Tourmaline from their Earth Contact line. This is a pale pink with gold shimmer.

This ink had high shading and lots of gold glitter. The gold flecks are a warm accent to the pink. Overall the color reminds me of champagne and parties.

This ink had a moderate dry time and no water resistance.

This ink had a slightly dry but consistent flow. I really liked this shade of pink as it was dark enough to be legible. Although I liked the gold glitter, it rubbed off of the paper within a few days.

Overall: Tono & Lims created a beautiful but short-lived shimmering ink. I don’t see myself purchasing a full bottle as the gold rubbed off quickly.
