Ink Review #249: Robert Oster Great Southern Ocean

Today’s post features Robert Oster Great Southern Ocean, a pleasant dark blue.

Swabs:

This ink had medium shading and red sheen. This is a medium blue similar to Bungubox x Zodiac Libra.

This ink had an average dry time at 25 seconds and no water resistance.

Writing Sample:

This color was very appealing! I liked the hint of red sheen. The blue is dark enough to be used for class. The ink had an average, consistent flow.

Overall: I’ve been a long-time fan of Robert Oster inks and happily recommend trying out this color. It’s a well-behaved ink with pretty red sheen.
