Ink Review #248: Vinta Inks Collection Pastel Pink Shimmer Julia 1991

Today I will be reviewing another Vinta Ink. Julia Pastel Pink is a very light, shimmering pink.

Swabs:

This ink had medium shading, no sheen, and gold glitter. Honestly the pink is so light that it is difficult to tell that this is a glittery ink. The gold shimmer is barely discernible. Iā€™m a fan of light pink but this color looks very watered down.

This ink had a moderate dry time at 35 seconds and no water resistance.

I have to admit that I was not a fan of this color. As seen above, the ink is extremely pale and difficult to read. Additionally this ink was quite dry; my Lamy Safari had difficulty maintaining a good flow.

Overall: This is a washed-out, dry pink that would look best in artwork or swabs. The color is too light for regular handwriting.
