Ink Review #257: Diamine Shimmertastic Cocoa Shimmer

Today we jump right back into shimmering inks with Diamine Cocoa Shimmer.

This ink had low shading and a high amount of gold glitter. The color is a standard brown but the glitter provides a holiday-esque feel. The glitter does not smear after drying. As a quick side note, I feel like I will have to check glitter smearing with all shimmering inks from now on!

I did not experience any hard starts or skips while using this ink. The ink had a regular and consistent flow. I noticed that the glitter seemed to decrease the more I wrote—most likely due to the particles settling in the ink.

Overall: This is a fun reindeer brown. I liked the glitter but felt that the brown was a little too flat for my taste.
