Ink Review #260: De Atramentis Standard Poppy Red

Today we will be reviewing a de Atramentis ink. This is a bright poppy red.

Swabs:

This ink had no shading or sheen. The color is a a shade lighter than a standard red.

This ink had a long dry time of 40 seconds and low water resistance.

I had a great time using this ink. It had a wet and consistent flow. The red is the perfect shade for note-taking—it’s not glaringly bright but draws your attention.

Overall: This is a bright red with a great flow. The color makes this red suitable for the office, classroom, and homework.
