Ink Review #261: Robert Oster Shake & Shimmer Schwarze Rose

Today I’ll be talking about a Robert Oster ‘Shake N Shimmy’ ink. I assumed this was a black ink—to my surprise it turned out to be green!

This ink had medium shading and pink glitter. The color is a deep green similar to Monteverde Olivine.

This ink had a quick dry time at 10 seconds and no water resistance. As seen above, this ink has pink undertones.

This ink had an average but consistent flow. I think it would shine in large nibs such as broad, flex, or architect (my favorite grind at the moment).

Overall: I didn’t think I would like this color but ended up thinking the olive tone was very pleasant. I like the hue, shading, and flow. It was a great ink for my TWSBI architect.
