Ink Review #284: Robert Oster Shake & Shimmer Barossa Gilt

Today we’ll be reviewing Robert Oster Barossa Gilt. This is a purple-grey with silver glitter.

Swabs:

This ink had medium shading and medium glitter. The color is similar to Robert Oster Sydney Lavender and Robert Oster Summer Storm.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had an average dry time of 25 seconds and low water resistance.

Writing Sample:

This ink had a smooth, wet flow. The glitter was even and consistent throughout my writing sample.

Overall: Barossa Gilt is a well-behaved shimmering ink. I won’t be purchasing a full bottle as the color is similar to other purple-grey inks I’ve reviewed.
