Ink Review #291: Papier Plume Mardi Gras Purple

Today I’ll be reviewing another Papier Plume ink. Mardi Gras Purple is a well-behaved medium purple.

This ink had high shading and no sheen. The purple is lighter than Robert Oster Deep Purple and a close match to Sailor 452.

This ink had quite a fast dry time at 10 seconds and high water resistance.

I liked this color a lot. I felt that it was a pleasant, legible purple. The flow bordered on average/dry but overall the ink performed well in my Lamy <F>.

Overall: This is a lovely purple to try. It has a fast dry time, high water resistance and an average flow that would suit most pens.
