Ink Review #320: Robert Oster Aqua — Fountain Pen Pharmacist

Today I’ll be reviewing Robert Oster Aqua, a bright turquoise.

Swabs:

This ink had low shading and medium red sheen. It is similar to Diamine Marine.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had quite a long dry time at 50 seconds and medium water resistance.

Writing Sample:

I found this ink to be slightly dry. I also experienced some hard skips when leaving my Lamy uncapped for a few minutes. It’s a beautiful turquoise though; the sheen looks like sunlight glimmering off of ocean waves.

Overall: This is a lovely blue-green that is on the dry side. I recommend using this in a moderate or wet writer.
