Ink Review #327: Pelikan Edelstein Tanzanite

Today I’ll be reviewing another Edelstein ink. Tanzanite is a lovely blue-black.

This ink had low shading and high red sheen. The color is quite similar to Taccia Ao-Guro. It leans more on the blue spectrum than black.

This ink had an average to slightly wet flow. The consistency is thicker than most inks, almost like syrup. This could be attributed to the ink’s high sheen. It’s not unpleasant, but the flow feels a little slower than most inks. The color is beautiful. This is one of my favorite shades of blue-black for sure!

Overall: This is a lovely blue-black ink with sheen. The flow is a little syrupy. I do like the high water resistance as I tend to spill drinks often.
