Ink Review #339: PenBBS #236 Mandarin Duck Male

And just like that, we are off to another book! I’ve picked Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. I have a soft spot for old classics and this was the perfect novel in my angsty teenage years.

PenBBS Mandarin Duck Male is a dark blue.

Swabs:

This ink had low shading and sheen. It is supposed to be a shimmering ink but I didn’t see any glitter. The color is similar to Pilot Iroshizuku Shin-Kai and darker than Pilot Iroshizuku Tsuki-Yo.

This ink had a fast dry time at 15 seconds and medium water resistance.

I found this ink to be pleasant, with an average flow. It is a standard blue.

Overall: I liked the color and sheen of this ink; however, I did not see any glitter. This would be a good ink for taking notes .
