Ink Review #348: Kala Nostalgia Abstraction Storming Rainforest

Today I’ll be reviewing Kala Nostalgia Storming Rainforest. This is the supposed counterpart to Kala Hawaiian Eruption, a dark brown.

This ink had no shading and low/medium silver sheen. The texture is similar to Platinum Carbon Black.

I found this ink had an overly wet flow. Regardless of this, I still experienced hard starts when my pen was capped. The color has the slightest hint of brown—it’s quite dark, almost black.

Overall: I have to say I’m not impressed with this ink. I don’t see any visible undertones, the ink is quite wet, and my pen had a few hard-starts.
