Today I’ll be taking a look at Kala Hawaiian Eruption, a very dark brown.

This ink had no shading or sheen. The color resembles dark coffee grounds.

This ink had a wet but consistent flow. The color can be mistaken for a dark grey at first glance. I did not have any starts or skips with this ink.

Overall: I don’t review brown inks often so my experience is lacking in this department. I will say that this is a well-behaved brown that is just dark enough to fly under the radar for class or work.
