Ink Review #386: Tono & Lims Chigyoraku — Fountain Pen Pharmacist

Today we're taking a quick break from the T&L Fixation series to take a look at Chigyoraku. This is a reddish purple.

Swabs:

This ink had medium shading and no sheen. I have seen this color pop up lately (a reddish, pinkish purple). It is a close match to Tono & Lims SUNDA as well as Platinum Classic Lavender Black.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had a long dry time of 40 seconds and no water resistance.

Writing Sample:

This ink had high shading and an average flow.

Overall: Overall I was not blown away by this ink. The color is quite common, it has a long dry time, and does not have any significant characteristics.
