Today I will start reviewing a new Tono & Lims series—their Fixation line is pigmented and waterproof. Kokorozashi is a navy blue-black.

This ink had medium shading and no sheen. The color is similar to Lamy Blue-Black and resembles a lighter version of de Atramentis Document Blue Grey.

This ink had a quick dry time at 10 seconds and is waterproof.

I found this sample to be on the dry side with a consistent flow. The color is reserved and suitable for work or class.

Overall: This is a standard blue-black ink. It’s a bit dry so it would work best in wet writers or broad nibs. I like the quick dry time as there is less potential for smearing.
