Ink Review #416: KWZ Standard El Dorado

Today I’ll be reviewing a popular KWZ Ink. El Dorado is part of the Standard ink collection. I’ve heard many positive things about this color and am excited to try out the sample!

This ink had high shading and no sheen. This is a lovely amber-gold that is more saturated than Diamine Honey and a few shades lighter than Tono & Lims Mango Mojito.

This ink had quite a long dry time—over 60 seconds—and low water resistance.

This ink had a slightly wet and smooth flow. I really liked the shading—it shone in my journal. El Dorado, indeed! The color is cheerful and bright but dark enough to read.

Overall: Overall this is a stunning gold ink with amazing shading and a smooth flow.
