Ink Review #425: PenBBS #511 — Fountain Pen Pharmacist

Today we are reviewing another PenBBS ink. 511 is a cool-toned blue-purple.

Swabs:

This ink had medium shading and no sheen. The color is a bright “blurple” similar to Robert Oster Cosmic Swirl.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had an average dry time of 20 seconds and low water resistance.

Writing Sample:

This ink had an average flow. You won’t miss notes or journal entries with this color—it is cheerfully bright.

Overall:

#511 is a pretty bluish purple ink. I don’t think I will be purchasing a full sized bottle as the color is similar to other inks that I have reviewed.
