Ink Review #432: PenBBS #270 Strawberry Milkshake

Today I will review PenBBS Strawberry Milkshake. This is a waterproof ink which was recommended to me after I reviewed PenBBS Xu Zhimo.

Swabs:

This ink had low shading and no sheen. Contrary to its name, this is a silvery purple rather than pink.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink has a very long dry time at over 60 seconds and is waterproof.

Writing Sample:

This ink had a very wet flow. I wasn’t a fan of the color or how flat the ink looked on paper.

Overall: I like that this ink is waterproof, but the color is similar to other purples that I have reviewed. Additionally, it has a long dry time so I don’t see myself purchasing a full bottle in the future.
