Ink Review #474: PenBBS #512 — Fountain Pen Pharmacist

Today I will be reviewing PenBBS #512, a bright blue.

Swabs:

This ink had high shading and medium red sheen. The color is a saturated blue without any undertones and is similar to Pilot Iroshizuku Kon-Peki .

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had a slightly longer dry time at 35 seconds and low water resistance.

Writing Sample:

PenBBS 512 had a smooth, wet flow. I did not have any trouble with hard starts or skips. The color pops in person and is very cheerful.

Overall: I thought that this was a stunning pop of blue. I love the shading and flow.
