This ink had low shading and a hint of sheen .The color is a neutral black without any apparent undertones. The color is a bit lighter than Pilot Iroshizuku Take-Sumi.

This ink had a smooth, average flow. The amount of shading is just right for me—subtle enough for notes and work, but not bland.

Overall: Overall I really liked this sample! This is a dryer ink than Pilot Iroshizuku Take-Sumi, so it would work well in wet writers.
