Ink Review #687: Ferris Wheel Press Goose Poupon

And just like that, we are off to the next book! For our next series, I will be transcribing Black Beauty by Anna Sewell. This was one of my favorite childhood books, so I’m quite excited to begin the journey!

For today’s review we will be taking a look at Ferris Wheel Press Goose Poupon from their Fall 2020 collection. Swabs:

Goose Poupon had medium shading and no sheen. This is a saturated green-gold ink that reminds me of curtains, pickles, and changing seasons in the fall. It is similar to Robert Oster Muddy Bucket.

This ink had an average dry time of 20 seconds and low water resistance.

Usually, Ferris Wheel Press inks are quite dry. I found this ink to have an average, slightly dry flow. The yellow-green is well saturated.

Overall: This is a great ink for the fall. I thought the color was quite nice and pigmented.
