Ink Review #691: Pennonia Rézvörös Copper

Today I will be reviewing my first Pennonia ink (hurray!). Pennonia inks are made in Carei, Romania. The owner is also a fountain pen/ink enthusiast—according to the website, he came up with the idea of mixable shimmer powders and liquids (which is impressive and fascinating)!.

Swabs:

Pennonia Rézvörös (Copper) is a medium peach with low shading and no sheen. If you haven't used the ink in a while, the first few words will be pink (then go back to peach). The color is similar to Sailor Studio 173 (slightly more orange-hued).

I found this ink to have an average flow. It’s a bit light, but legible. I think it would look best in broad or flex nibs!

Overall: This is a beautiful pale orange that would be ideal in the summertime.
