Ink Review #693: Pennonia Organa Lilac

Today we are reviewing another Pennonia ink! This is a lovely, multi-shading light purple.

Swabs:

Organa Lilac is a cool-leaning pastel lilac, with high shading and no sheen. The shading varies from light purple to blue, with a hint of pink. As you can see above, Lilac tends to lean purple compared to Sailor Nekoyanagi and PenBBS #182. However, the color is similar to PenBBS #182 and Sailor #123 in writing samples.

This ink had a fast dry time of 10 seconds and high water resistance.

I found Organa Lilac to have a slightly dry flow. Because it’s a light ink, the shading would be best expressed with a broad or wet nib.

Overall: Personally this ink is a bit too pale for my daily use, but I liked the shading a lot.
