Ink Review #712: Rohrer & Klingner SketchInk Lilly

Today we will be reviewing Rohrer & Klingner Lilly, from the SketchInk series.

Swabs:

Lilly is a muddy green with high shading and no sheen. I found the color quite fascinating—I originally thought it was a dark yellow-green. If you’ve ever eaten dưa chua, or pickled mustard leaves, then the color is a close match to R&K Lilly.

Source. One of my favorite side dishes!

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had a longer dry time at 40 seconds and is water resistant. I’ve noticed that the SketchInk series typically has longer dry times than normal.

Lilly was very well saturated with a wet flow. I didn’t experience any starts or skipping while using this ink.

Overall: This is a unique color—enough so that I recommend trying out a sample.
