Ink Review #768: Diamine Blue Edition Jack Frost

This week we will be continuing our Blue Edition reviews! Jack Frost is an ink that I have been wanting to review for a very long time.

Swabs:

Diamine Jack Frost is an electric blue with high shading and red sheen. It is similar to Diamine Sargasso Seas. I believe this ink was popular a few years back when the community was into sheening inks.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had a regular dry time at 30 seconds and medium water resistance.

Jack Frost was well-saturated with an average flow. I experienced a few hard starts when leaving my Lamy uncapped. However, I did not experience smudging after the ink dried (a common theme with sheening inks).

Overall: Jack Frost did not disappoint! I love the red sheening and plan on using it this winter.
