Kala Nostalgia Abstraction & Kala Nostalgia Gemstone Series

Good afternoon everyone! We’ve successfully made it through two Kala collections. I’ve grouped the swatches together as the color gradation is quite similar.

Initially, I expected to like the darker-toned inks as I was looking for a suitable color for classes and work. However, I gravitated towards the lighter greys—specifically, Kala Opal, Moonstone, and Grey Agate. The colors were similar to pencil lead which I liked. I also kept the sample of Bermuda Mistery, which is a rich chalk-like purple.

Lastly, the black/darker grey inks were difficult to tell apart from each other. I will say that these inks consistently have hard starts, so be patient!
