Montblanc 146 <M>

  • Tono & Lims Star Light SE Aldebaran: A strange ink that looks pink in the vial but fades to a light, glowing orange. Dry.

  • Tono & Lims Prefecture: Nagasaki Passion: High shading but dry flow. The pink brings back memories of falling in love for the first time.

  • Birmingham Liberty Tunnels Southern Portal: Goes on a standard brown but dries to a dusty dark red. On the dry side

  • Noodler’s Ottoman Azure: Wet, highly saturated with lots of shading. A clear dark blue without apparently undertones. .

This week’s favorite was Noodler’s Ottoman Azure. The shading is breathtaking especially given how saturated and dark the ink is. I foresee this becoming a staple in my ink collection.
