Ink Review #350: Kala Nostalgia Abstraction Moonlight Tide

Today I’ll be reviewing Kala Moonlight Tide. This is the saturated version of Kala Spring Rain. This is described as a blue-black ink.

Swabs:

This ink had no shading and very low copper/red sheen. The color is described as blue-black but the color comes off as a standard black.

This ink had a long dry time at 50 seconds and is waterproof.

This ink had a wet flow. The feel while writing is very similar to Platinum Carbon Black. I noticed some smearing after the ink had dried.

Overall: Overall, this is a wet black ink. I didn’t see any blue undertones. It takes a while to dry and will probably be best used in smaller (EF/XXF) nibs.
