Ink Review #557: L'Artisan Pastellier Encre Classique Rubis

Today I’ll be reviewing L’Artisan Pastellier Rubis. I’ve been in a pink mood lately with my keyboard, Lamy Safari fountain pen, and Lamy Safari ballpoint! (Next up: pink laptop case?)

Swabs:

This is a medium pink with medium shading and no sheen. The swab resembles L’Artisan Encre Classique Rouge, but the writing sample is less saturated.

This ink had an average dry time of 30 seconds and high water resistance.

This ink had a dry but smooth flow.

Overall: I liked the shade of pink for this sample: it had good shading and had decent saturation. I would use this as a Valentines Day/February ink or during the spring.
