Ink Review #685: IWI Colors of Nature Slight Snow

Today I am excited to announce that we are adding a new (to me) ink brand to the blog! IWI Colors of Nature inks are made in Taiwan. Slight Snow is part of their standard collection which currently contains 24 inks. These inks are inspired by seasonal changes. Slight Snow represents the twentieth Solar Term, which starts on November 22.

Swabs:

Slight Snow is a desaturated purple with medium shading and no sheen. The color is a warm mauve.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had an average dry time of 15 seconds and high water resistance. I apologize for the cropped photo—-my cat batted the card into my coffee, and I had already finished using the ink sample.

Slight Snow had average saturation and flow.

Overall: I liked this color a lot and would recommend trying out a sample. As for me, I think this is a perfect fall color and will add it to my wishlist. It’s a unique dusty purple with a faint hint of pink.
